This year’s Royal Ulster Winter Fair at the Eikon Exhibition Centre, Balmoral Park, Lisburn on 10th December 2015 was a busy day for our team. It was great to see so many of our customers come and visit us at the Agritech stand. We were delighted with the opportunity to chat to farmers and get a sense of what is happening on the ground and how their season is shaping up.
Apart from extremely wet weather being experienced across their land, farmers are paying considerable attention to silage quality and cited it as the key component to herd performance. With price pressures as they are, getting the most from home produced forage is a must. We were particularly pleased with the amount of farmers that chose to avail of our show offer on silage additive, which shows that farmers are already thinking towards next spring.
More immediate considerations meant that there was great interest shown in our Vitalac Milk Replacer range, which is available through our local distributor network, with focus on Vitalac Blue as a Once-A-Day feeding option.
Well done to all involved in organising this show as we certainly enjoyed it.
